DIVINE INTERVENTION

A Cry That Moves Heaven

Scriptural Foundations:

  • Psalm 77:1: God responds when you call out to Him.
  • Judges 3:9: Appealing to God is a catalyst for deliverance.
  • Psalm 107:6: In times of distress, God provides relief in response to your appeal.
  • Psalm 141:1: Sincere supplication prompts divine intervention.
  • Psalm 142:1-5: Effective prayer must include specific requests for God’s action.
  • Judges 4:3: No circumstance of hardship is beyond God’s capacity to resolve.

Crying, as described in scripture, represents an outward manifestation of deep emotion—demonstrated through tears, sobbing, weeping, or exclamations. It reflects a profound longing for transformation and illustrates a personal submission to God, expressing anticipation for divine involvement. Genuine emotional pleas are distinct from insincere demonstrations, as God is able to discern true intent.

While quiet prayers are valid, earnest cries often accompany significant results. Such emotional appeals typically arise in response to adversity or pain, signalling a recognition that current circumstances require change and expressing trust in God rather than in human solutions.

Historical examples include Blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:49), whose persistent plea halted Jesus, and the Israelites in Judges 4:3, who sought deliverance from overwhelming oppression. These cases highlight how heartfelt expression of need can be a strong act of faith, acknowledging reliance on God alone.

A sincere cry toward God demonstrates acknowledgement of His role as a caring and omnipotent Father, surpassing earthly authority figures. It also marks awareness of personal limitations and a desire for restoration, comfort, and divine guidance.

Biblical examples such as Jesus at Lazarus’ grave (John 11:43) and King Hezekiah’s extended life following earnest prayer illustrate this principle. Through such appeals, one expresses regret, seeks a return to righteousness, and articulates the need for urgent assistance.

Theologically, cries of repentance or requests for transformation align with passages like Matthew 11:28-29, which invite those burdened to seek rest in God. These actions reflect a willingness to approach God openly, admit shortcomings, and pursue renewed blessings.

Ultimately, the depth of one’s sincere petition often correlates with the magnitude of divine intervention experienced. Consistent with scriptural precedent, wholehearted appeals lead to comfort, joy, restoration, and the opportunity to witness God’s wonders.

Prayerful  Daily Declaration:

O God, my Father, I ask that You intervene and transform my situation, in Jesus’ name.

Meditate on Psalm 68:1-19 and name the situations you seek God’s intervention.

REJECTION: A SPRING BOARD TO PRE-EMINENCE

Re LIFE COURAGE

Sometimes, rejection becomes the very force that propels you toward significance. While it can cause deep emotional pain, rejection also holds the potential to shape or even define your destiny: for better or for worse.

Few people find rejection easy to endure, but your response to it determines what comes next. When you face rejection with faith and resilience, you pave the way for a remarkable comeback.

If people turn their backs on you, remember: God never does. Even if the world rejects or scorns you, divine love remains unwavering. You are treasured by your Creator and made in the image of the Divine. No matter how others may attempt to diminish your worth, God’s view of you is constant and full of grace.

Divine Project in Courage

Life- courage

Joshua 8:1-8

God wants you to have good courage. There is courage that is not good. But good courage tailored in God will make you to regroup, change plans, change direction, acquire knowledge, acquire skill  and execute them courageously.

Joshua changed strategy and plan  after the initial defeat by Ai. Joshua declined to withdraw, viewing the initial setback as an opportunity for growth rather than a conclusion.  Joshua enquired from the Lord  to search out the problem why they suffered  to unlikely small Ai. When he  got the answer he quickly put away the cause,  changed strategy while  abiding  in the words of God  not to fear . Not to be dismayed but to have good courage. To  be dismayed is to be discouraged and to draw back.

With courage,  you will  arrange and organize your problems and  be prepared to make a public show of them, then at the end you bury them as your courage continues un abated. If your courage  breaks, it is possible  the problem will regroup. In Joshuah 10:26 Joshua hung his problems on the tree. Courage  will make you to hang your problems , battles on the tree; dead. God knows that adversity does not exclude any. It  comes boldly and it requires courage   to checkmate it. God forewarned Joshua on what he needs to do.

Your enemies are increased because of fear thereby exposing you to defeat by poverty,  battles , opposition ,failure, weakness, rejection, trauma even sickness by accepting evil report, name it. In order to cast out fear in the hearts of his commanders Joshua brought the defeated kings and asked his commanders “ …..come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near and put their feet upon the necks of them “Joshua 10:24. In verse 25 Joshua says” thus shall the Lord do to all your enemies against whom you fight”

You are the captain over  your situation. You have power over your situation if you exercise courage. Its only when you give space to fear that adverse situation escalates You need to be the true  captain in your situation. The  defeated kings were the head of the problems. And to make public show of their defeat Joshua  hung them on the tree.

The bible records that if you fail on the day of adversity , your strength is small. You lack courage backed by God . It took courage for Joshua to order the sun and the moon to remain still while he  completed his conquest  drive.

To put an end to emotional trauma, depression, failure , disappointment and so on: kill fear and pick up courage in the face of adversity.

Prayer for  restoration of courage. Your daily confession

  1. Greater is He that is me than that is in the world  in the name of Jesus Christ(7 times)
  2. In all things I am more than a conqueror  through Christ Jesus that loves me.(7 times)
  3. I declare my victory over every adversity in my life in Jesus name.(7 times)

LIFE-COURAGE

God.

God.

God.

Courage.

Without these essentials, one risks living a life filled with pain and uncertainty.

– **God** is the omnipotent and omniscient being to whom you need to connect.

– **God** is the Word personified in Jesus Christ. As stated in John 1:1-2: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” Jesus is the Word through whom all creation was made. The Word of God must resonate within you profoundly, as it is God.

– You cannot live without the **Holy Spirit**. The Holy Spirit is the administrator of God’s will.

These three—God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit—are united as one in heaven. They are intimately aware of everything about you. They were present when you were created and formed at His pleasure.

God created you for a purpose and placed you exactly where you are for a reason. He assigned a unique destiny to you, which means that He has specific expectations from you. Anyone who fails to acknowledge these three distinct personalities in one God risks leading a life devoid of purpose.

If you desire God to reveal to you your true identity, I encourage you to pray the following prayers. Before you begin, confess your sins to God, renounce them, and seek His forgiveness.

1. Read **Psalm 29:1-end** deliberately.

2. Pray: “Oh Lord, show me who I am.”

3. Pray this for 10 minutes before you go to bed.

4. Share your testimony.
